Today is offically my first day on Deviantart. My name is Katie and I'm 15 years old. I never really thought of myself as an artist, though I enjoy photography and writing poetry very much.
In the last while I've come to realize that life is much bigger than myself. There are times yes when we feel as if we have the strength to command and conquer, to go out into the world and do what we wish to do, but there comes a point in everyone's lives when this isn't the case. I'm coming to learn that there's so much I don't know, and not until I grasp this concept will I be able to learn anything else. That is why I'm here. To express who I am, no matter how small I may feel in the grand scheme of things. I want to share a piece of myself with all of you. I aim to see all things without boundries, with unconditional grace, and with an eye for its true beauty. I know enough to admit that I know very little and that I'm still growing.
